Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The gospel is very good news! God is now fully reconciled to mankind when He was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself by not imputing their trespasses to them. At the cross, Jesus completed the work of redeeming mankind from sin and death and offers to everyone who will believe in Him forgiveness and righteousness. This finished work releases to every believer the blessing of Abraham whom God called a friend. Believers today are more than just 'friend', they are also sons calling God 'Abba' by the Holy Spirit.

Here is further evidence of the good news.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:19-21)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:1)

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)
