Testimony - Second Chance

Hello SIB Grace,

First of all, all praises and thanks to our Heavenly Father for His perfect Mercy, to Jesus for His death on the Cross and to all brothers and sisters in Christ.

My cousin, Winston brought the word of Grace to our family in November 2008. It was a time of troubled heart because my husband was down with Hepatitis C. Not only the cost of his medication was so high, but he had to quit working and at the same time, he was suffering from the effects of the medication.

Praise be unto God, after listening to a tape recording of the Word of God by Pastor Mark Ng of New Creation Church which was brought by Winston, my husband opened up his heart to receive Christ. Now, my husband is healed.

A full year passed by and my husband was unemployed. And then Winston came again and he is a witness to what happened to us later. It was not us who seek employment, but employment seek us. And that happened after we lost hope of finding a job for my husband. And even this morning, we were still answering calls from enterprises and organisations offering him jobs.

My husband left for Papua New Guinea on 15 April 2009. Not only was he offered a job, but the salary offered was many times bigger than what he received at his previous job. We (I) have never seen such a huge pay. All this is only possible due to the finished work of Christ and by the Grace of our Lord.

I am amazed for my husband who was once a drug addict is now a new creation in the Lord. All the hardship for the past 10 years has ended.

The year 2009 and the years to follow is and will be victory years in Christ Jesus. God's blessings is with this new family in the Lord. Please, include us in your prayers. Thank you.

(Please pray that my husband will share what we went through and how Jesus took us out of that devilish life. I sincerely hope that one day we will be able to visit SIB Grace)
